PAINTINGS WITH STAMPS "FREE SAMPLES" The idea for 'FREE SAMPLES' materialized by way of finding a 19th century Seaford, Delaware postal cover advertising 'Raw Bone Super Phosphates'. The envelope is tucked beneath a tacked down strip of leather on a wall. This was referred to as a 'rack' and was popular since the 16th century. I opted for a few squirrel bones, (raw bone) in the envelope. FREE SAMPLES, DETAIL Acrylic on Panel 12" x 16".
